Proud of Our Pastor Rick

    Today we went up to Northville to Pastor Rick's Grandma's Memorial Service.  It was very touching. Sarah was a pastor's wife, and a woman of God.  the family spoke and Rick closed with the main part of the service.  I was very proud of his message and the honor that he gave his grandmother.  She has  big influence on he and Steve's life.  He communicated her love for the Lord, and the reality of Heaven, so amazing.  To see what God has done in this young man is a blessing.  I am very proud of him. 

Trip to The Brooklyn Tabernalce, met with Pastor Jim Cymbala, an amazing experience!

I just got back from New York.  We went out to the Brooklyn Tabernacle prayer meeting last night.  This morning we were able to meet with Jim Cymbala for a couple of hours.  It was an incredible experience. Pastor Cymbala was not feeling well last night so Pastor Brad Trask from Brighton got to speak. He did an incredible job.  The experience was so amazing I am still processing it.  As I stood and worshipped/prayed/and interceded with 3000 very passionate people I thought to my self "Now this is real revival."  All the focus is on Jesus and others, not a "personality" and "self".   The Tab revival has been going on for over 20 years. No hype, no circus antics, no extra biblical methodolgy, just the pure hunger to put Jesus as the head of the church and lives.  How priveledged we were this morning to be with Pastor Cymbala. His heart, attitude, and spirit was so Christ-like humble, yet, powerful and loving.  I was so impressed.  Todd Winkler, Tom March, Harold Salee and Brad Trask was who all went out.  I am still so blessed and I know this trip and experience has influenced my life and ministry.  Thank you Brooklyn Tab for your love and hospitality.  Thank you Pastor Cymbala for your speaking into our lives.

Team Haiti Update

Here is an email I have received from the team.  Pray for them.       Hey Pastor Nate-
Here is our check in for the week! The team is doing great...we LOVE Haiti and the people are awesome! We have worked really hard all week...we even took a 10 mile hike up a mountain to a village that BCC helps to send 1800 meals weekly. We do have one slight problem...John has decided to stay and get his ticket refunded...hahaha just kidding. No seriously we have been able to touch many lives...but our lives have been touched and transformed the most. There are 18 changed people coming back to BCC we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday!

Rick Warren has my highest respect

I don't know if any of you have received any foolish email circulating that Rick Warren (pastor of a great church Saddleback) is part of the New Age and he teaches heresy, along with other pastors, like Joel Osteen, Dan Kimball, and Rob Bell.  I am amazed at how many people believe everything they read on the web or ridiculous email forwards. These guys are doing great things for God.  Pastor Warren is an incredible spiritual leader for the evangelical movement and the United States.   Be careful what you forward, (and please keep me off your list) about great men of God.  I am sure if BCC had thousands of attenders, and I was an author of many books, the "pharisees" in the body of Christ would be attacking me too.  That's what legalistic, religion-loving spiritual control freaks love to do.  I say.  Keep leading Rick Warren, the church needs men like you!

Men's Breakfast with my big bro!

Here is an old fun pick of Steve and I.  Steve has always been one of my hero's.  He led me to Christ!!   The devil has tried to take his life a couple times now, but he has failed.  The anointing of God rests on Steve.He is coming in town tomorrow and will be sharing at our men's breakfast.  I am excited for I know he takes this kind of thing serious and will have put much thought, prayer, and preparation into this.  It is going to be a breakfast to remember.  Make sure you get here and bring a friend.  We have the best breakfast that I have ever been to ever!  Join the 60-80 guys as we grow closer to the Lord together to kick Satan's tail and "destroy the works of the devil!"  1 John 3:8
