One Step Closer

I love VBS at BCC

Music is my station to look after.  It has been a lot of fun. We have changed the groups around this year and the older are with the younger , Our 5th graders are buddies to our kindergarten kids. It has been a joy to watch them connect and try to talk to one another.It is a little harder for the boys to do but they are trying and I am blessed by that.  I have a great team of girls helping me. I have been able to step back and just watch and listen today. It has been a great blessing to me.  I have to say "Joy "is all around the church. I am so blessed to experience this.  Yes I have taken naps when i get home but that is so good too!!

I mentioned all our children. This summer time wouldn't be possible, if it wasn't for Nathan! He works very hard and cares for us  even more!  Father's day is a real deserving day for him. He is the best Dad in the world!!! I am a blessed blessed woman for he brings me one step closer to our Precious Lord and Savior!! I pray week 2 of summer will be a blessing to him also!!

Week 2 Of Summer

What a beautiful day it has been! We spent last night at my mom and dad's. We hung out for most of the day! Our "Elarton Summer Challenges" are different for each of our children but has the main theme. They are to be reading  the book of John, having their devotions, and they have 3 sets of goals. Spiritual, fun and reading book goals.  They have a daily check list to do and complete for a reward at the end of the week.  We will see how well we can keep it up! They did very well last year and I know they can do it again. Again I have to say I am so thankful for Summer and this time with my family!!  I love the freedom to also spend more time with my parents and neices.  I am such a blessed women!!!

This is Abby my oldest and only girl!!! We begged God to bless us with a child.  What a great gift she is to us. She is now a teen and full of social skills. "Elarton summer challenge " has been just one of many things on her list. I am a blessed mom and I take very serious my position. I am already sad to have one week gone from our Summer. I charish this 2008 summer and will hold every day as a gift from God!!!!
